Lakes, Glasses, and Droids...Oh My!!
Well I've kind of neglected this blog the past couple of days, so let me bring everyone up to speed. I still haven't had a cigarette, thanks to my daily diet of suckers, peppermints, and of course...NICOTINE PATCH!! I'm on day 6 now, almost a week....UNBELIEVABLE!! 
Anyway, I've been off work the past couple of days, and that's mainly why I haven't posted much. I'm on a computer for 40 hours a week at work, so I don't get on mine at home anymore. I did however plan to post though, it was just a busy couple of days. Thursday, Val and I went to get my glasses fixed. Turns out I have ot have new temples for them, and rather than fork the cash for that, I decided to schedule an appointment to get my eyes checked and just get some new frames altogether. BUT I have done away with the masking tape. That's right, I have them Krazy Glued together at the moment. I swear there's nothing you can't do with some Krazy Glue and a little time. But anyway, after that we spent all day over at Percy Priest Lake.
Then, I didn't really do much on Friday, but I bought the Star Wars Trilogy on DVD finally, and well that seemed to consume most of my day. We also had bought some crafty type stuff, to paint for Xander's room, and we went and toured one of the two bedroom apartments that we'll be moving into soon to prepare for his arrival. But that's about it. I must say though, I'm highly impressed by Star Wars on DVD. Not that there would be any reason for me to not be impressed. I mean, they're still the same old GREAT movies, only better now!! Anyway, not much of a post today. Might post again later if I have anything interesting to say.
